1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you create an account and use PredictCup: your email address (used for authentication), a username you choose, and the match score predictions you submit. We do not collect your real name, phone number, or payment information. PredictCup is free and requires no payment.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used solely for account authentication and essential service communications such as password resets. Your predictions and username are used to calculate your leaderboard score and display your ranking publicly on the leaderboard. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database platform hosted on AWS infrastructure. Supabase implements industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. You can read Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

4. Cookies

PredictCup uses cookies for the following purposes: (a) Authentication — session cookies to keep you logged in. (b) Preferences — a cookie to remember your light/dark theme choice. (c) Advertising — Google AdSense may set cookies to serve personalised advertisements based on your interests. You can opt out of personalised ads via Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com.

5. Google AdSense

This website uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies and web beacons to collect data about your visits to this and other websites to provide relevant advertisements. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your prior visits. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. 6. AI Features

Our AI prediction feature sends match information (team names, group, and stage) to Groq, an AI inference provider, to generate a predicted scoreline and commentary. No personal information about you is sent to Groq. Groq's privacy policy is available at groq.com/privacy.

7. Public Leaderboard

Your username and point total are displayed publicly on the leaderboard. Your email address is never displayed publicly. If you wish to remain anonymous, choose a username that does not identify you when creating your account.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, email us at hello@techkitab.com with the subject line "Delete my account". We will process your request within 7 business days.

9. Children's Privacy

PredictCup is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PredictCup after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
